About Me

I am a full stack web developer with a preference for front end development. There is something magical about bringing designs alive with few lines of code. I strive to build websites that are functional, clean, and beautiful.

After 6+ years of working mostly as a supervisor in social service field for nonprofit organizations, I was ready for a change. Research led me to edX to look for online classes and I found CS50. I instantly fell in love with coding and building websites. After CS50, I continued to teach myself HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for about a year. At Flatiron School, I flushed out my skills by learning Ruby on Rails and React by building sites like my Freelance Job Tracker and Travel Log, respectively. I am on a search for an awesome company where my skills in communication, teamwork, and management can contribute to their growth and in turn where I can continue to grow as a developer.

In addition to coding, I love to travel to discover new dishes and uncover rich history. You will also find me in the kitchen cooking and baking, boxing in the gym, and getting lost in bookstores.
